Steady Dividend Increases for 46 Years

MGE Energy's board of directors increased in August the regular quarterly dividend rate approximately 5% to $0.3875 per share on the outstanding shares of the company's common stock, marking 46 consecutive years of dividend increases. This raises the annualized dividend rate by 7 cents from $1.48 per share to $1.55 per share.

Throughout the past 46 years, MGE Energy has paid more than $1.1 billion in cash dividends to our shareholders. No other Wisconsin utility or utility holding company can match MGE Energy's history of dividend increases. The financial publisher Mergent consistently ranks MGE Energy as a "Dividend Achiever" for the company's commitment to the annual dividend. 

MGE Energy has paid cash dividends for more than 110 years.
