Enterprise Forward, the five-year initiative undertaken this year at MGE, takes a major step forward in 2019 with the launch of new systems and enhanced capabilities for key business processes and functions. The capital project will touch every part of the company, beginning with new, more efficient systems for enterprise resource planning, work and asset management for inventory, and human capital management.

When complete, Enterprise Forward will enable MGE to offer more customized programs, products and services to engage customers and better meet their needs and expectations into the future. From customer service to metering, online interactions, billing and more, a modernization and consolidation of legacy systems will help MGE to reduce operational costs and offer flexibility to adjust to a changing energy marketplace, allowing the company to deliver new products and services more efficiently and effectively.
