Charge@Home: A Quicker Way to Charge

Electric vehicles (EV) sales are increasing nationwide as more and more drivers are realizing the environmental and cost benefits that EVs offer. Many motorists, however, still cite the time it takes to charge an EV battery as a deterrent for purchasing.

MGE is offering an innovative new program for EV owners to quickly charge their car's battery at home. Charge@Home works with customers to make it easier for those who own plug-in EVs to quickly charge their car's battery at home.

This pilot program, which is limited to 30 participants, is part of MGE's research to expand new technology options for customers. Participants will be enrolled in a study to help learn more about charging sessions and how technology can best work for customers. This collaboration supports MGE's Energy 2030 objective of offering customers new technology options to create a more sustainable energy future.
