2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

MGE Energy thanks shareholders for attending this year's Annual Meeting, held Tuesday, May 19. This year's Annual Meeting was a virtual meeting due to restrictions and guidance from federal, state and local public health agencies.

Shareholders learned about the impact of COVID-19 on MGE Energy and how MGE is responding to the pandemic, our recent and projected investments in renewable energy and new technologies, and our partnerships as we work toward our goal of net-zero carbon electricity by 2050.

In lieu of the annual shareholder gift and meal at our annual in-person meeting of shareholders – and in keeping with our mission to serve as your community energy company – MGE Energy is making an additional contribution to our community to assist in its response to COVID-19. MGE Energy's philanthropic arm, the MGE Foundation, will be contributing $50,000 toward local hunger relief efforts assisting our community during this challenging time.
